Part dance practice, part creative play, this class dives into the physicality and themes of Chicago artists Erin Kilmurray and Kara Brody’s Knockout – a fierce contemporary dance duet powered by high-femme silhouettes, boy-ish horseplay, toothful camp, and athletic, anti-hero energy. 

Participants will be guided through a sensation lead warm up, practice (learn) dynamic floor phrase work, and apply these materials towards experimentation in tension, proximity, play, and negotiations of power in a queer-affirming and community-motivated atmosphere.
